Making purchases on a credit card can work out to be very costly for those that have high interest credit cards but cannot repay the balance in full each month. With Christmas fast approaching many people may be planning to use their credit cards to fund their purchases but for those that are using high interest credit cards the price of Christmas is likely to be far higher.
One solution for those that want to use their credit cards to fund purchases for Christmas – or for any other purchases such as larger or more costly purchases – is to find a good interest free purchase credit card, and supermarket giant Tesco is currently offering a great deal on one of these cards.
The Tesco Clubcard credit card offers consumers an interest free period of thirteen months on purchases, which means that the cardholder will have thirteen months within which to repay the accrued balance without having to pay any interest on the debt.
Using the Tesco Clubcard credit card for making purchases can save consumers a lot of money as long as the balance is repaid in full within the thirteen month period. This can provide the perfect way of paying for Christmas or for any other larger purchases without having to worry about paying over the odds because of the interest that would otherwise be charged.
For those that are going to be spending a fair amount on the credit card the clubcard points that can be earned will provide a welcome additional bonus, with cardholders able to earn one point for every £4 spent on the card. Whilst this may not sounds like a great deal the points all add up, and can then be used towards future shops or even exchanged for a range of rewards and discounts.
