Many of us enjoy the convenience, flexibility, and ease that having a credit card can offer, but not everyone wants or can get a traditional credit card. Some people have such poor credit they cannot get a traditional credit card, and others choose not to have a normal credit card because of the risk of getting into high levels of debt.
This is why many people have now started to look at the option of a prepaid credit cards, which are available to those with poor credit and can also benefit many other people that want to enjoy the convenience and ease of making payments by card.
With a prepaid credit card\ the user simply loads the card with cash, and then uses it in the usual way to make purchases in person, by phone, or online. These cards can suit those with poor credit, who cannot get a normal credit card but want to enjoy the convenience of cash free payments, and they are also popular amongst younger people that are learning to manage their finances and so do not want to risk having a standard credit card that can result in debt.
It has now been announced that the financial service group, Paymex Group, has launched a new current account that actually comes with a prepaid credit card. Paymex is working with the Secure Trust Bank to provide the account, which is called Evolution, and it is claimed that this is the first account of its kind in the UK. Paymex has said that this account, along with the prepaid credit card, will enable consumers to better manage their finances, and the account will be available from this month.
